Join the Loudoun County Master Gardeners for their First Annual Gardening Symposium to be held at the Ida Lee Recreation Center. The theme for the event is "Garden 2 Table" and will feature several guest speakers.

Among the guest speakers will be Joe Lamp'l aka "Joe Gardener", host of two National television shows: GardenSMART on PBS and DIY Network's Fresh from the Garden. He's also a syndicated columnist and author, and will be speaking on his latest book; The Green Gardeners Guide; simple significant actions to protect and preserve the planet. Joe's passion and work related to gardening and environmental stewardship through multiple media platforms has positioned him as one of the most recognized personalities in the green sector today.

Also featured is Ellen Ogden, co-founder of The Cook's Garden - America's premiere source of information for the kitchen gardener. These are just two of the many speakers that are lined up for the event.

Tickets are $35 per person for one day, or $55 for the two day event--and includes lunch. More information will be posted soon on the Loudoun County Master Gardeners website.
