Albemarle sets public meeting on new farm winery rules

Albemarle County is hosting a public roundtable discussion next month about new regulations for farm wineries.

The roundtable is designed to give residents free reign to discuss concerns or issues of interest. The regulations were adopted in May.

County staff expects a second, more structured roundtable meeting to be held at a later date, focusing on topics that might need to be addressed by the Planning Commission.

The initial roundtable meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Dec. 2 in Room 241 of the County Office Building at 401 McIntire Road.
