Men’s Journal Says Charlottesville Among Healthiest Cities

Men’s Journal magazine has named Charlottesville one of the healthiest cities in the country.

The ranking was based on factors including availability of local produce, short commutes, walkable communities, low pollution levels, green spaces and mild climate with sunny days.

Other top-ranked cities were Iowa City, Iowa; Boulder, Colo.; Logan, Utah; and Northampton, Mass.

The rankings appear in the magazine’s February issue.
